Description
The building was erected in the years 1908-1911 on the initiative of Prince John Henry XV Hochberg and his wife Maria Theresa, known more as Princess Daisy. Initially, it served as a hotel called `Grand Hotel` with 130 rooms inside. The architecture of the building combines neo-baroque and art nouveau elements. In 1935, after the Hochbergs ceased to be the owners of the city, the Grand Hotel changed its name to Dom Ã
Å¡lÃâ¦ski. Currently, it serves as the Health Resort Sanatorium No. 1 in Szczawno-Zdrój.
