The Pahiyangala Ancient Temple is located in the Bulathsinhala area of Sri Lanka and is believed to be one of the oldest and largest rock cave temples in the country. The temple is carved into a massive rock face and is believed to be over 37,000 years old. The cave is considered sacred by both Buddhists and Hindus and is believed to have been used for spiritual practices and meditation. The temple features a number of chambers and passages, including a meditation chamber and a large main chamber with several smaller chambers branching off from it. The cave is also decorated with intricate carvings and paintings depicting scenes from Buddhist mythology.
