Kentucky Stable Building 450 Pacific Avenue San Francisco 4 #258374701
Description
With cars being such an everyday part of life for almost everyone, and all around the world, it is hard now to picture a time when there wasn`t any.nWhich is why it is hard to imagine this very building at 450 Pacific Avenue in San Francisco was originally the Kentucky Stable Building. And opened just before the Earthquake of 1906, surviving with early a scratch. nThe wide doors, now large windows, were to allow carriages to pass through easier. The windows on the Osgood side were for the loading the hay and grains.nEqually unusual, the top floor once held a cigar factory, at the same time.nAs seen 14 September 2022.
