Description
Catholic monarchs had a temple built on the remains of the Moorish fortress. The first construction ended in 1507 and was extended in the 16th century, incorporating Gothic, Renaissance and Mudejar features. The temple, now known as Iglesia de La Villa, is rectangular in shape, with ornaments of angels, a large vault and three chapels.
