Torres Venecianes from the streets #260204221
Description
The Torres Venecianes, or Venetian Towers, are a pair of iconic towers located at the entrance of the Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina in Barcelona, Spain. Built in 1929 for the International Exposition held in Barcelona, the towers were designed by architect Ramon Reventós in a neomudejar style inspired by Venetian architecture, hence their name. Each tower stands at approximately 47 meters (154 feet) tall and features a square base with octagonal upper levels topped by ornamental domes. The towers serve as a grand entrance to the city's renowned Montjuïc area and have become symbolic landmarks of Barcelona's architectural and cultural heritage.
