This is the common Mestra. Mestra amymone butterfly species of Nymphalidae family. It features orange flourishes on the trailing edge of its hindwing. Observed near Maya Biosphere Reserve (MBR), Peten department, northern Guatemala. As all pollinators this butterfly population and distribution is threatened by climate change.
