Mushroom Sprouting From Tree In The Forest Royalty-Free Stock Photography

These pretty turkey tail mushrooms are growing up the trunk of the tree almost looking like steps leading up. These little brown woody colored fungi really resemble the back tail feathers of a turkey with the pattern of thee stripes. These are edible, but should be dried and ground up after cooking. This picture was taken in the East Coventry nature preserve close to Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
