Description
Sarlat-la-Canéda is a town in southwestern France, in the Dordogne department. Right in the center, its Sainte-Marie church, redesigned by architect Jean Nouvel, houses a covered food market, and a glass elevator in the bell tower offers a view of the city. The nearby Sarlat market sells local food, including foie gras and cheese. To the south, near the Saint-Sacerdos de Sarlat cathedral, is the Lanterne des Morts tower.
