This is a Setophaga citrina bird species, Parulidae family. Common name: hooded warbler. It is a New World warbler. It breeds in eastern North America and across the eastern United States and into southernmost Canada (Ontario). It is migratory, wintering in Central America and the West Indies. Males have distinctive black hoods which surround their yellow faces. Observed at Cerro CahuàProtected Biotope, Petén department, Guatemala.
