An Adult Male Black Howler Monkey Under The Tree Shadows Stock Image

This is an Alouatta pigra monkey species, a male, Atelidae family. Common name: black howler monkey or saraguate. It is a New World monkey from Central America, found only in Guatemala, Belize and Yucatán (México). It is an endangered species. Observed at Cerro Cahui Protected Biotope, near Maya Biosphere Reserve (RBM), Peten department, northern Guatemala.
