Pictured is a colorful 35 feet tall art-deco style mural by Eyecon Studios at 5 Mockingbird Apartments by Eyecon Studios in 2020 in Dallas, Texas. The principles of Eyecon are Chris Arnold and Jeff Garrison. In 2006 Eyecon was commissioned to adorn the apartment building with seven 35 feet murals that were painted over in 2017 by the previous owner. In 2020 a private equity firm, SPI Advisory, LLC, acquired the property and held a competition with an open call to all Dallas artists, and Eyecon entered the competition and won. They completed two murals in 2021.
