The brown bear is a huge bear species that can be found in North America and Eurasia. Brown bear populations in North America are known as grizzly bears, and the subspecies that lives on Alaska's Kodiak Islands is known as the Kodiak bear. Established in 1936, the National Zoological Gardens of Sri Lanka is a zoological park in Dehiwala, Sri Lanka. Numerous species of birds, animals, reptiles, fish, and amphibians live there. The zoo displays species from all around Asia and the rest of the world in addition to those from Sri Lanka.
