Description
This house sitting on top of a steep hill at 1254 to 1256 Montgomery Street in San Francisco is one of the very few in the Telegraph Hill neighborhood that survived the 1906 Earthquake.The location originally had a windmill that burned 1861, this home was then started shortly after that.Originally intended to be a two floor home, it started out as only one floor, with the second floor added in the 1890`s.In 1979 it was added to the list of National Register of Historic Places.As seen 7 December 2022.
