Description
This is a Turdus grayi bird species, Turdidae family. The clay-colored thrush is a common bird in Central America and the national bird of Costa Rica. Tends to stay on the ground or in low vegetation. The plumage is brownish, somewhat lighter below than above, lightest on the flanks. Birds from humid regions are darker than those from dry regions. The throat is faintly streaked. Observed at Cerro CahuàProtected Biotope, Petén, Guatemala.
