The plant is commonly found among forest borders, waste land, grass land in the dry zone in Sri Lanka. Sometime, rarely found in wet zone. It is use as a leaf vegetable and also use in Ayurveda system as a herbs.The vine mostly grows along the ground and blooms beautiful white-purple flowers.
