Description
The church of San Francesco di Paola is a church located in the Borgo Umbertino of the city and the convent of the same name is annexed to it. In 1623 the construction of the current church dedicated to St. Francis of Paola began. In 1956, the new facade of the temple was erected to replace the previous one. The church is a pilgrimage destination for devotees of the Calabrian saint and above all it is known as it offers hospitality for the break in the procession of the Sacred Mysteries during Holy Week.
