Transhumanism is an ideology that wants to improve humans, push them to a higher evolutionary stage or even make them immortal by using science and technology. The two main strategies for achieving these goals are genetic enhancement or eugenics, through CRISPR-technology, and biodigital convergence, the merging of human and machine through artificial intelligence and the internet of the bodies, also called the cyborg approach of human performance enhancement. Thus, the merging of humans and machines will render normal people inferior or useless in the eyes of transhumanists. It sounds like science fiction but it is not.
