this waterfall is the result of strip mining left over reclamation from over 50 years ago. the reclamation was done using culverts and dirt. the water flow through the years has eroded away most of the settling ponds and culverts are hanging in precarious positions today. some appear to be hanging from 50 foot tall trees. this is what reclamation looked like back then and what it looks like now. after every rain there is mud.
