Title
Detail of an oak trunk, Tuscany - Italy #268130017
Description
Its wood resists time, fungi and rodents, it is almost indestructible and that is why it was used to build the ships of the Royal Navy. It was very appreciated by the companions who used it particularly for the construction of our Cathedrals and Basilicas. The coopers make tuns and barrels of it because the tannins of its wood allow the wine to be perfectly preserved.
