Description
Great Gully Creek, a tributary to Cayuga Lake. The full ravine is about 4 miles long and up to 150 ft deep. Great Gully is an extensive ravine with multiple branches. The portion you can access is under a conservation easement by the Finger Lakes Land Trust - FLLT. A lot of the gully falls on private land. The lower falls is about an 8 ft cascade over limestone bedrock leading to a nice 40 ft wide pool underneath. Late winter early spring bring torrents of water going over the falls.
