New Mexico, Santa Fe: Museum Hill - Museum of Indian Arts: Entrance to the Sculpture Garden #269984139
Description
On top of Museum Hill in Santa Fe are two museums. This Sculpture Garden is part of the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture and is connected to the Native American Garden in front of the Museum. This is the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture. The museum was built in 1931 by architect John Gaw Meem. He used the Spanish Pueblo Revival Style, prevalent in Santa Fe. The sculpture on the right, made of Texas limestone, is called Prayers For The Future, and was created by Rollie Grandbois, a member of the Turtle Mountain Chippewas. A photo of this sculpture is elsewhere in my portfolio.
