American Bald Eagle Stock Photography

Bald eagle lands on the nest and works to rearrange the eggs to begin an incubation period. Nest is located in a large cottonwood tree beside Illinois Route 143 outside Alton Illinois. Nest is very close to the Mississippi River at Lock and Dam 26, which the Eagles use as a prime fishing area. This is a brand new nest recently completed.
