Trinity Presbyterian Church Mission United Presbyterian Church San Francisco 1 #271570974
Description
This Trinity Presbyterian Church was built in 1892 by famed architects Percy and Hamilton, and one of the few of their buildings to have survived the Earthquake and Fire of 1906,making it that much more important. Since this part of the city was always very warm and sunny,it was more of an upper middle income, suburban area then just another neighborhood like today. In fact, the cities then mayor,James Rolph, was married there in 1900. Having survived the Earthquake and Fire of 1906,it served as an area relief center. It has now been known as Mission United Presbyterian Church since 1972,and now serves as an area food pantry. As seen 1 February 2023.
