Casa estudio Rivera e Khalo. Mexico City. #271797800
Description
Diego and Frida's studio house is not the traditional representation of the house understood as a domestic hearth, but it is also the story of their lives, their love story and art. In 1931 Diego commissioned the architect J. O'Gorman to design it. The peculiarity of this house consists in being divided into two distinct bodies connected only by a walkway on the second floor. A larger and more powerful one colored red, home to Diego's studio and a smaller one painted blue intended for Frida. Casa Estudio is the materialization of the lives of the two artists, of their strength and autonomy.
