Taliesin West is Frank Lloyd Wright"s "desert masterpiece" - his personal winter home, studio, and campus. It is located in the Sonoran desert at the foothills of the McDowell Mountains in northeast Scottsdale, near Phoenix, Arizona. The campus is adorned with many sculptures - prominent the ones by Heloise Cristo (1926 - 2018). Her first major work - in 1956 - was a bronze bust of Wright, which is on display in the Garden Room of Taliesin West.
