Pictured is a bronze sculpture titled 'St. Francis' by artist Beverly Steigerwald at the Church of the Good Servant in downtown Edmond, Oklahoma. In this sculpture, St. Francis is sitting on a log wearing sandals and a long robe with a rope belt. St. Francis and a bird resting on his left forefinger are looking at each other and he has a gentle look on his face. The sculpture was purchased by the Church of the Good Servant partnering with the Edmond Visual Arts Commission and was dedicated in December 2006. It is part of the public art collection of Edmond. The sculpture was vandalized in 2011 and two additional birds were stolen. They have both been recovered but not yet repaired and placed back on the sculpture.
