A Traditional Chinese Village Hongcun Royalty-Free Stock Photo

Hongcun, a traditional Chinese village located at the southwest foot of Huangshan Mountain, was founded during the Southern Song Dynasty (1131 -- 1162). Hongcun is a cow-shaped village, the whole village is like a green cow. The ancient buildings of Hongcun are Hui-style buildings, with well-organized walls and green tiles, and upturned eaves. The overall outline of Hongcun village is in harmony with the natural scenery such as terrain, landform and mountains and rivers. Hongcun is now well preserved Ming and Qing residences more than 140. In 2000, the ancient villages in southern Anhui, represented by Hongcun Village, were inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.
