April 2023, Ghent, Belgium: Thanks to the work of recheachers and enthousiast, like Kathleen Boel, these typical Belgian art objects are getting the attention they deserve. rightly so with a lot of them beeing real ceramic art and vidid illustration of art in the 50's, 60's and 70's. Fastly disappearing from view and the streets (often after renovating a house or buidling) the ceramic door handles are becoming rare. Hopefully the renewed attention will save some of the magnificent ceramic door handles from ending on a trash heap.
