The Aye-aye is a mammal of the family Lemuridae, found in the forests of Madagascar. They have a thick soft coat, with a predominantly black or reddish brown color. What's special about the Aye-aye is that they have a long and sharp spoke, which is used to pierce the bark and get the bait inside. In addition, they also have large ears and large eyes, helping them to observe their surroundings in the best way. Aye-aye has a small size, only about 40-45 cm and an average weight of 2 to 2.5 kg. They are one of the animals that are threatened with extinction due to habitat loss and illegal hunting.
