Description
The Saint Eligius church in Gentbrugge is one of the lesser known parish churches in Ghent but well worth a visit. The church was build in 1884. A parish church (or parochial church) was the religious centre of a parish. The typical spire or clock tower was added to the construction in 1938 after a design of the architect W. Vandenbogaerde.
