Queen Anne Hotel San Francisco 9 Royalty-Free Stock Photography

Built in 1890 by one of the silver magnates of the Comstock Lode by James Fair,it was first used as a boarding school for the young ladies of the cities society.The school moved out after James daughter,Virginia,inherited it,so it next was used by the Cosmo Club,a social club for the cities elite. Virginia eventually sold the property,and after a couple of other uses,at one point,sat vacant for about ten years,until it was beautifully refurbished and reopened,in 1981,as this boutique hotel.
