stork of Vidriales, Zamora #277118110
Description
Cyconids (Ciconiidae) are a family of large, long-legged, long-necked, thick-billed birds belonging to the order Ciconiiformes. Usually they are known simply as storks, although more restrictively, this name would only apply to species of the genus Ciconia. The best known species of the family is probably the white stork (Ciconia ciconia) which lives in Europe and migrates long distances to Africa.
