Description
Native to eastern Canada and northeastern United States the Yellow Trout Lily crops up in early spring after the snow melt. The unusual name comes from the lily'sspeckled leaves which looks like spots on a brown trout.These native wildflowers grow on the forest floor in dense patches. The pretty flowers on the plant take roughly seven years to appear and typically droop downwards.
