The Tiantan Park in Beijing, China, formerly known as the "Tiantan Temple", is located at No. 7 Dongli, Tiantan Nei, Dongcheng District, Beijing. It was first built in the 18th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1420) and renamed as the "Tiantan" in the 9th year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1530). It was a place for emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to "worship the sky" and "pray for the valley", and is the largest existing ancient sacrificial architectural complex in China.
