Description
Pictured are stained glass windows inside the Piccolomini Palace in Siena, Italy. The palace was commissioned by Pope Pius II, designed by Bernardo Rosellino, and consecrated by the Pope himself in 1462. The building is now a museum which you can visit with a paid ticket. The palace along with the rest of the historic center of Pienza were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.
