Description
Tangerines or mandarin oranges are oranges that can grow in tropical and subtropical regions. This orange tree has a relatively smaller size compared to other oranges. The flowers can be pollinated with the help of bees, self-pollination, or parthenocarpy & x28;especially in seedless satsuma oranges& x29;. This orange is the ancestor of various types of species and varieties of oranges in the world.[2] Citrus reticulata has several varieties including satsuma or mikan & x28;Citrus unshiu& x29;, clementine, clemenule, or nules & x28;Citrus à clementina& x29;,[3][4] and tangerine & x28;Citrus tangerina& x29;[5] In Indonesia, tangerine production centers can be found in Batu, Jember, and Banyuwangi in East Java, Garut in West Java, South Central Timor in NTT, and Bali.[6]
