This is the Wangfujing Apple store, the biggest Apple retail store in Asia. The store was opened in October, 2012. It is located on the northern end of Beijing's Wangfujing pedestrian street, one of the most famous shopping streets in China. Wangfujing's three-story 4,000-square-meter store is Apple's eighth in China. There are two others in Beijing, three in Shanghai and two in Hong Kong. Wangfujing's shoppers are mostly tourists from home and abroad, so this location elevates Apple's image nationwide and worldwide.
