Description
Hosh Kadem Mosque is an important building in terms of being the work of the first years when Ãukurova was conquered by the Turks, located in the center of Kozan district of Adana province.There is an inscription on the sentence gate. It is understood from this intricate thuluth script in Seljuk style that the mosque was built on 10 Muharram 852 by "Emir Abdullah Ho?kadem", a member of the Egyptian Kölemen Mamluk sultan Malik Zahir Seyfettin Ãakmak.[citation needed] This date corresponds to 1448 in the Gregorian calendar.
