This is the Shakelfoerd County Courthouse in Albany,TX. It's a stunningly beautiful structure made of local limestone brought in from a nearby quarry. It was completed in 1883 mostly by Scottish stone masons. It's on the town square right off the main road through Albany and as you can see,off to the right is a more recent gazebo. The clock on the tower works and the building houses offices of various kinds.
