Taigu Drum Tower is located in the center of Cross Street in the old city of Taigu, Shanxi, PRC. It was built in the 43rd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1615). The 20m-high tower is built on a square brick platform. The platform is 8m high, and there are four cross gates, which can connect the east, west, south, and north of the county.
