Although so-called fire rainbows are neither on fire nor rainbows, they are still incredibly beautiful.According to a NASA press release, these are actually iridescent clouds, a somewhat uncommon occurrence brought on by clouds of water droplets that are almost all the same size. These clouds bend or diffract light in a similar way, dividing it into many colours or wavelengths.
