Heliconia Rostrata - Lobster Claw Royalty-Free Stock Photography

This species is famous for its unique, brightly colored flower bracts that resemble the claws of a lobster, hence the name. The plant is native to Central and South America and is characterized by its distinctive red and yellow bracts, which are typically arranged in a hanging, "claw-like" fashion. Heliconia flowers and banana plants (genus Musa) are related, both belong to the same plant family, Musaceae, order Zingiberales, which includes other tropical plants like ginger and plantains.
