Gibbon is the general name of all animals of the Chordate phylum, mammalia, Primate, Gibbon family. Gibbon are distributed in parts of Yunnan, Guangxi and Hainan in China. It is also distributed in eastern East India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia and other places. Gibbon are typical arboreal animals. They mainly feed on fruits, but also eat a small amount of roots, leaves, flowers and insects. Occasionally, they also prey on some lizards and small vertebrates.
