Pictured is a restored Chinese Nanchang CJ-6 aircraft at South Grand Lake Regional Airport, Oklahoma on July 4th, 2023. It is part of a group of World War II War Birds that take part in the annual 4th of July fireworks display at Duck Creek. The show has a tradition of over 80 years, and is the largest fireworks display in Oklahoma. With other warbirds, the plane will fly over Duck Creek before the fireworks. The Chinese basic trainer aircraft was designed and built by the Nanchang Aircraft Factory in 1958 for use by the People's Liberation Army Air Force.
