Description
The former site of Guangdong(Yue) Hoppo is located in Yanjiang West Road, Guangzhou, commonly known as the "Big Bell Tower". The building is located north to south, and the overall structure is a mixture of brick, stone, and reinforced concrete. Most of the building materials are imported from abroad, with a construction area of over 4000 square meters and a height of over 30 meters. There are five floors from the basement to the clock tower, with an internal corridor layout and three sides surrounded by corridors. One of the characteristics of the former site of Guangdong(Yue) Hoppo is that it adopts the Baroque Neoclassical architecture architectural style of Edwardian England.
