Michelangelo Sculpture David In Florence Stock Image

David is a masterpiece of Italian Renaissance sculpture, created by Michelangelo. A replica of the original is set up in Florence, which is more than 5 meters high. David was originally commissioned as one of a series of statues of the Twelve Prophets to be placed along the roof of the eastern section of Florence's cathedral, the Duomo di Firenze.
