The Hang is a percussion musical instrument created in PANART laboratories in a swiss canton in 2000. Hang means Hand in Oberland language. It was the result of a scientific investigation with steel and other resonant percussion instruments worldwide, such as Gong, Gamelan, Steelpan, Ghatam... You can play in several ways: with the tips of the fingers, thumbs or palms, or mixing the three together. Most of the time, the Hang is placed on the legs of the performer.
