Irving M. Scott School San Francisco 2 #284629078
Description
Initially built as an eight room school house in 1877, by 1895 it greatly needed expansion. Money came from Irving Murray Scott, the Union Iron Workers president for who the school was then named. During this time period, the boys all learned manual trades while the girls learned home making skills. Skill greatly needed in frontier country. As seen 13 March 2018.
