Green Glass Porthole on the Deck of an Antique Top Sail Schooner #284722860
Description
Known as a topsail schooner or Baltimore Clipper, this green faceted glass porthole is on the top deck of the ship, designed to let light into the lower deck. It's brass hexagonal frame is weathered to a verdigris finish. Eight screws hold it in place. Gray weathered decking is made of wide planks of natural wood. This porthole photo was taken aboard the Amistad out of New Haven, Connecticut.
