Ash trees (Cupressus funebris Endl.) are tall trees of Cupressus genus in Cupressaceae Bark light brownish gray Twigs slender and drooping, green Older twigs are cylindrical and dark brownish purple in color Male cones are elliptical or ovoid, while female cones are nearly spherical The cones are spherical in shape and dark brown when ripe The seeds are broadly obovate rhombic or nearly circular, flat, light brown when ripe, glossy, with narrow wings at the edges The flowering period is from March to May, and the seeds mature from May to June of the second year.
